As a local resident do you wish to have a greater input and involvement in the community? Maybe you have time on your hands or have a New year’s resolution to try something different. Cotebrook Village Hall community and management team are looking for active and interested individuals who feel that they have something to offer and wish to become community orientated or simply wish to be more socially involved with other local residents.
Voluntary opportunities at the hall are;
Handyman
Our hall is a modern and well used building we seek someone to deal with smaller maintenance issues and meet with individuals who need access to the building for boiler, alarm, hoist, electrical maintenance etc as well as dealing with minor maintenance issues as they arise such as taps, sprucing decoration etc.
Gardener
To maintain and upkeep pots of flowers and mixed flower borders to the front and rear which are neglected and need weeding, input and improvement. Would suit someone who enjoys gardening and wishes to give their own input and flair into making a community building appear smart and appealing to visitors. A small budget would available for plants and it would entirely be the gardeners option as to what is planted. Maybe a role for more than one person, not because it is difficult or onerous but two or more are company.
